Quayclean tops the class with Bacchus Marsh Grammar

Quayclean Australia has expanded its presence in the education sector with the appointment for cleaning and facilities presentation service at Bacchus Marsh Grammar’s campuses at South Maddingley, Rockbank and Staughton Vale in Victoria.

An independent, co-educational primary and secondary school, Bacchus Marsh Grammar is home to more than 3,000 students from Early Learning education to Year 12, staff and visitors.

Quayclean’s team is responsible for all day-to-day cleaning, specialist cleaning including high window cleaning, carpet steam cleaning, strip and sealing, waste, consumables, hygiene, and all sanitary services.

A key feature of Quayclean’s services will be recycling and waste management which reflects the company’s commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal number 13, Climate Action.

As part of its recycling and waste management action plan, Quayclean is committed to diverting waste from landfill, targeting an 80% recycling rate to meet social, environmental, economic bottom lines.

Quayclean Chief Executive Officer, Mark Piwkowski, said the company was delighted to work with Bacchus Marsh Grammar.

“We believe the school can rapidly advance its existing waste management program. Quayclean has the skill to significantly improve the recyclable content of the waste as well as increase diversion from landfill

“We will develop a recycling plan for property, catering, grounds, and stakeholders. Our team will develop education material and signages to promote engagement within the school and provide a heavy emphasis on eliminating contamination with a particular focus on organic matter,” he added.

In addition to Bacchus Marsh Grammar, Quayclean manages cleaning and presentation service at several Victoria private schools including Peninsula Grammar, Brighton Grammar School, Korowa Anglican Girls’ School, Trinity Grammar School, Aquinas College and St Catherine’s School.
