CASE STUDY: SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE

Quayclean has been partnered with the Sydney Opera House since 2018 and has increased their diversion rate by over 25% since then. Our on-site Waste Warriors at the Sydney Opera House now maintain a monthly diversion rate above 85%.

In addition to this, they also work closely with the events team to make sure that waste from events is handled in the most sustainable manner possible. Our Waste Warriors processed and sorted all waste from the on-site Australia Day event in 2022, in addition to actively educating patrons, to achieve a 95% diversion rate.

This event produced over 2 tonnes of waste, of which 1990kgs was diverted from landfill through successful patron participation and efficient sorting practices.
